The Hotel

Situated in one of the oldest streets in Llangollen and a few seconds from the high street, Gales has 15 en-suite bedrooms. All our rooms are individually decorated and sympathetically restored in keeping with the historic character of the buildings.Eight of the rooms are above the Wine Bar in a Georgian townhouse, with many original features.

The remaining rooms are in a much older timber framed building across the driveway. These rooms have exposed beams, wattle and daub walls and all have original features.

All our rooms are available as double or single occupancy, many can be used for twin or family occupancy.

All our rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, hair-dryers, direct dial telephones, widescreen televisions and wifi access.

 

The Suite

Room Ten is on the top floor of the hotel and allows our guests to relax in a bit more space.
Alongside the en-suite bedroom with antique brass bed, is a separate dressing area and study.
Then you also have your own living room complete.

The Courtyard Cottage

This cottage is located to the rear of Gales Hotel and has its own parking area. The fully fitted kitchen and living room are on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a study area, a small double bedroom with black iron bed and a spacious double room, all with original floorboards. This room has exposed brickwork and a high beamed ceiling. The bed can either be a 6’ double or two 3’ singles.There is a bathroom serving both bedrooms with an exposed stone wall, bath with shower over and the basin features a deco style splashback. The loo is separate.

The cottage has full central heating.
