This weekend we are very proud to announce that we are officially 45 years old! 45 years of our glorious Wine Bar. The oldest Wine Bar in Wales. Est 1977!
Here are some pictures for you from before we opened. Richard would be on the bar, Gillie was in the kitchen, Gillies mum washing up and Richard’s Mum counting the money in the till.
We particularly enjoy the photos of Dad doing building work in Flared Jeans and the old menu - bottle of Margaux for £4.50 and a French Apple Flan for 45p. Go on then!
Thank you to absolutely everyone over the years for helping us to build, coming and watching / helping us grow and being part of our story.
Come in and raise a glass with us over the next few weeks. We will be joining in with the Queens celebrations on the 4th and 5th June with our Beer Festival, DJs and much more planned over the coming months so we have lots of time to celebrate together.
